Boat Hire

The club owns a number of sailing dinghies, both single handed and double handed. They are used for training and racing and are available for hire (when available) on sailing days only.
Please see the Duty Officer or the training administrator for permission & payment.
It is also possible to hire club boats for extended periods for attending National championships etc.

Please note: No club boats will be available for use on red flag days
Instructions for club boat use
- Please log in the Boat Hire book and pay the appropriate fee (cash tin by the signing on table)
- Rig boats and check for any prior damage before use
- After use, freshwater wash, pack boat and gear away in boat shed. Report any damage to the Duty Officer who will record it on your receipt
- To ensure boats are kept in working order, all sailors are responsible for enuring any damage caused during use is repaired as soon as possible
- Use of gear only (e.g. rigs, foils etc.) is also subject to hire fees, please talk to rep from training committee for advice
